Why isn’t the G-Force handle recommended for my trolling motor?

Some trolling motor models are not recommended for use with the G-Force handle due to how it attaches to the trolling motor bracket.

On most trolling motors, the handle is attached so that the cable comes straight out of the bracket and toward the user’s hand, while some models have a 90-degree bend before making this straight line to the user’s hand. This can cause issues since the G-Force handle is so strong it can break the fitting to which the handle attaches. Therefore, we do not recommend using the G-Force trolling motor handle on these trolling motors -- models with the 90-degree bend (like the Minn-Kota Edge or Motorguide Pro Models).
